Tyres - which ones and what pressure?

No doubt an age old debate, but my rears will need swapping very soon and was contemplating Michelin pilot sport 2s or even the new 3s. They are very expensive but supposedly pretty good. Any thoughts?

Also, what does everyone run in terms of pressure? Jdearden said he runs 20/21 psi on the front and 28/9 on the back.

I currently have 28 on front and 29 on rear which must be wrong, i think i might try James' advice but anyone got any other input?

28 on the front! You must love understeer. Generally I run under 20 on the front.

Not really, (i hate understeer, my Impreza gives me plenty of that) that's why i thought it was a bit worse handling than i remember on some others i have driven!
20 it is then, James was right.

I recently got some new tyres, which i'm pleased with for the Noble from Blackcircles

Bridgestone S02 (the directional ones)...18psi front and 28 psi rear.

I'm thinking of Dunlop Sport Maxx (road use only). Sport 9000s on the rear at the moment - don't want them again.

We did talk about the Federal RSRs as they are getting a good review. They are very good value also.

I will be putting them on my summer set once I get off my butt and get the wheels painted. lol

I put some new PS3's recently to replace my ultra noisy R888's, The PS3'S are quiet but i'm not liking them on everything else, when you are used to the grip the R888's offer the PS3's feel pathetic in comparison.
I am going to try the Yoko 048 next.

Are you rinsing tyres Chris? How can you need to change them that often?
I might try the P Zeros if they have the right ones...

No, if you go for the stickier ones you will end up on the bump stops all the time, Rosso's will be fine
