Hey all,
Tried to get a couple of new 1 bar actuators fitted today, and the mechanic spotted oil leaking from the front turbo.:-(
Suspect seal has gone. On the plus side, maybe a good time to upgrade??
Any recommendations, or has anyone got a pair of refurbed turbos to sell? I've been quoted £250 for seal kits and £480 for recon units and may as well get both done.
Cheers
Jay

What turbos does the 2.5 have then? I thought all cars had T25s apart from the M400?

2.5's have got a turbo made up of half a T25 and half T2. So they spool up faster giving you a nice kick in the back

Blowers coming out this week and going to Universal turbos.
They mention upgrading the turbos if required.
Any suggestions?? I like the way the power comes in now, but a little extra would be nice. Don't really want to run more than 1bar, and don't want to spend a fortune.

Im running a bar on bigger turbo's and still only making 380BHP which is the same as Bondy and i think he is on the smaller turbo's.

Yep, however Steve is getting over 400 but he has changed a few other things.

Now I have the hard pipe kit and pro alloy (and of course this time the RR temps will be lower than 40 deg) I hope to get my 400bhp off a bar.
