As promised lads, semi hot Ring lap from Sunday 3rd (final lap on Ring card). a few hold ups especially a big one at the beginning behind a Type R. Sadly the GT2 that was behind me that wasn't on camera was blitzed by Bergwerk corner.
I estimate without hold up would have been early 7:50's or a tad less, with a 'Mad Max' button God know's...

Keep an eye out for them dates as I for one would be deffinatley interested in a proper organised trackday there without the nutters.
You would of broke the barrier if it wasn't for the hold ups there and you look very smooth and controlled.
It was good to meet you on the spa trip and look forward to another euro hoon!

The car is pretty much standard, suspension is factory, brakes, Corsa tyres, it has hard pipe kit, Pro alloy intercooler & mapped by Trevor to 429 bhp/ 428 lbs all work & set up are done by Dave & Matt at Jetstream. Then the power to weight is then ruined by a pie eating monster...
I do have extensive knowledge of the Ring having held the GT4 on PS2 record in 2005 for a few months with a time of 4:47 in a 1200 bhp Sauber Mercedes C9. The PS2 learned me the way round but not to drive but helped immeasurably, nearly got the van record in my Vito flooring van that Top gear/Sabine Schmidt hold in 08 with a time of 10:18 which was 10 seconds off. My lap record until Sunday was 8:05 in a special TVR MK1 Tuscan S which again traffic hold ups thwarted a sub 8:00 lap.
The Noble is outstanding now that I'm used to it & truly certain the BTG record is gonna be breached next year which I think is mid 7:40's. Not on the tourist days as near impossible as the amount of time lost with momentum through a lot of the fast bends etc are crucial to a record lap. It would certainly have to be a track day with minimum cars out at one time if any.
With engine taken to around 500 bhp with a 'Mad Max' button as Daddysumo's, Grants etc & perhaps Pirelli Trofeo tyres with appropriate conditions a seriously fast lap would be attained.
Can't wait for Ring/Spa visits next year especially with you lot.

The car is really easy to drive at pace especially after Tuscan S although non standard. There is still loads left in regards to grip etc at Ring as still haven't got fully used to the gearbox yet.
Good luck with your trip, I assume your car is nearly complete?

Cool, I'm planning to have the car at Jetstream at the end of the month so will see about getting my geo checked and the camber mod at the same time.
Very near to completion but offshore fri for two weeks, gutted, just want to stay at home and work on finishing my car.
I had a T350 and managed a 8.40 at the ring, sideways at 100 action in that bad boy, noble is a go kart in comparison!

Yeah must be frustrating, your car will be in good hands with Jetstream boys.
That was a good time in T350. My Tuscan S was a Peter Wheeler Special & was like re entering the the Earth's Atmosphere in the Space Shuttle.
The M400 is some car. I always knew it would be when Tony from Hexham brought his demo to Croft on the TVR days there years back, from that moment on I admired Nobles although walloped a load of them but knowing they were not driven as good as they could be or full potential.
I went out with Steve's (Daddysumo) car at Spa, I was totally blown away by it's savage power, handling, grip & braking. The Millenium Falcon out of Star Wars Immediately sprang to mind. It is incredible how many Nobles have evolved to where they are today & sadly left TVR's in their wake.

One thing for certain all the 600 + Nobles would do well at Ten Of The Best competion or event no question. even an overall top ten finish could possibly be achieved.
