We've blagged our logo on the front nose of the Marussia Virgin car this weekend.

Will have to see if I can get some shots of the Marussia car tomorrow.

The first Aventador is in the UK

Just £70k more than the M600..... Know which one floats my boat.

Just why it's the engine isn't in the middle of the car is still a puzzle. Looks wrong offset, especially with the kids climbing frame off-cut trying to stiffen it up.

Maybe it'll grow on me like the Murci did after 5 years or so. Currently I'm thinking not.

Nope, we were part of BSkyB until last September. Privately owned now.

I wonder how much we pay for the CSC logo on the air box. I'll always wonder if I should applied for one of the 2 places on the technical team that work have. Travelling the world with the team might have been a bit better than going to the office each week.

Either a very small amount, or a lot. Depends on the quid-pro-quo services.

Depends if you are single and fancy free. The life of an engineer is tiring and you get little of the glamour that us "punters" get I'm afraid.

Most of the team I've spoken to do it because of their desire to just work in F1, not because it might be better than a desk job.

I know a guy who is a F1 engineer - he has done it for years and now hates it, but because his family is used to the money his wife will not let him leave. He works stupid hours and never gets a day off. He warned me not to do it for a job

(off topic - Joust do you think BSkyB will recover form the Murdock thing and recover the 8% drop in value)

You need to look at the trades over the last few days, a big slug is the direct hedgers, and the amount of stock loaned for shorting to realise things aren't normal. Throw in that Murdoch took off the Sky News proposal to ensure it got referred to the comp. commission and the drop is somewhat inevitable.

The key thing is they are still trading above pre takeover announcement. To that end the market will eventually decide a fair price as the commission comes to their conclusion.

Yeh, I sorted a quid pro quo arrangement out too... I fitted a team toilet trackside and they let me put an advert on the car.
