wipers again

what's the latest chat on replacement wipers? I see it's been a hot topic in the past. I've definately got replacements on mine but they are sticking a lot so I'm going to attempt replacements before anything else.

Is it a case of replace with ones that don't support the washer mechanism and then fiddle with it OR are there other ones where it's a direct replacement.

Stupid questions I know but I'm not entirely the best mechanically. (give me a mouse and keyboard anyday!)

Mine squirt down a tube attached to the arms/blades. But I also have a normal squiter thing as well ( but not plumbed in ). Is that normal ?

I believe the earlier cars had fixed jets mounted to the bulkhead while most - if not all - 3Rs & M400s had tubes or spray bars. The fixed jets are the neatest solution IMHO.
