Ride height

Hi all

I recently had brand new Bilstein shocks on the rear, and im not convinced the ride height is correct.

what should the gap between the top of the rear tyre and the arch be?

Could anyone measure their ride height for me?

Hi Jules , jetstream set mine up and it measures 140mm to the bottom of the cill in front of the rear wheel . hope this helps Tux

mine is over 153mm!!

Standard ride height 140mm Rear, 133mm Front measured from the floor to underside of sill.

Just adjusted it, and ended up being closer to 130mm.. Oh well ill get a full geometry done when im at Jetstream

The US build manual has 5.5 inches rear, 5.0 inches front, measured from the ground to the chassis at the centerline of the axle for the 3.0L cars. Before I set the ride height, I check the tire pressures and weight the car to simulate the way it will normally be used. If you don't have slip plates, be sure to roll the car forwards/backwards (or drive it around the block) before remeasuring the ride height after you make adjustments...
