Just spent the day up in the lakes with one of Lee's other creations, an Ascari and about 45 other supercars! The Noble did me proud! 180 miles each way plus an 80plus mile sprint round the lakes. Highlight of the day has to be my sons face when he had the passenger ride of his life in a Diablo.

Sounds like a great day out especially if the weather was a good as it was down here in the south.

Was your sons face a face of disappointment when he discovered for all the noise and bravado, the Diablo wasn't as
quick around those windy roads as his Dads Noble?biggrin

The weather on the way up was terrible! It cleared though and was nice and dry running round the lakes. I think it was the sheer pantomime of navigating the Diablo round the lanes that made his day. The Nob was much more at home and was faultless all day. The best thing for me was when I asked a by stander which one he would go home in and he picked the Nob. Even better when I told him that one was mine.

Great day that was really well organised.

My flickr photo's getting a lot of notoriety, it's even in the club's homepage!

And, the look on my face was a mix of sheer excitment/utter terror. The Diablo's no way near dissapointing, it's absolutley rapid and quite scary, even after 2 years with the Noble. The acceleration's just immense and it's wild around corners.

I suppose there's a magic point between excellent handling and a little terror that gives us great entertainment in a car. Given the money, I would consider a Lambo for that reason or a F40!
