Hi All, Has anyone had any speedo problems on the M12? Mine has now completely died so I don't know my speed and my odometer is not adding mileage. I am currently using my GPS to keep track of speed and log my miles. Anyone any idea where the sensor is and whether it's something I can check as I'm having difficulty in getting a response from the factory at the moment. They're obviously very busy but this speedo issue is a pain in the a**e!
Cheers.

Yes.
Mine failed after a few miles from new (first it was eratic, then stopped all together). Had the sensor (I guess - not sure if anything else) replaced under warranty.
It worked fine for a while, but failed again at the weekend. Then it started working again.
I suspect there is a link with water here... I.e. it would appear that if I wash the car (using lots of water, including a good hose-down) the speedo will fail. When it dries, it works!
Think the sensor is in one of the front wheels. My suggestion - don't get it wet.
Fortunately, I too have a GPS speedo - otherwise I would be a bit more pi**ed off than I am.

We are aware that there is a problem with the speedo on 3R models. It is the sensor, mounted near the o/s front wheel which seems to be the cause, and we are working on an upgraded version which is less prone to water ingress.
Not sure where you are based, Captain H, but we will be happy to sort the fault for you at the factory under warranty. Or you could e-mail me (simon.hucknall@noblecars.com) and I will organise for it to be done at an alternative service centre.
