I discovered a rather poorly rear tyre on Saturday with metal threads showing and a big chunk starting to delaminates from the main tyre! Being down in Dorset the replacement choices were limited but ProTyre has a complete set of Falken F452s in stock. At 560 for the lot it seemed a bargain and having had 452s on the Z4M for some time and being very happy I decided to have a punt.
They are great, I threw mud, leaves and all sorts of slippery stuff at them down Dorset's B roads, as well as some very 1 factor+ runs down Sussexs finest roads and found them exceptionally grippy (no wheel spin in 2nd full throttle which is rare) and turn in being sharp along with a very gentle break away probably just before the Corsa's would go made them very confidence inspiring.
Worth a look given the cost! Their street legal track day tyre might be my next play.

I'd imagine they'd not be that brilliant for track as have quite narrow blocks of rubber, although the centre band and the reasonably large edge blocks should provide a reasonable amount of lateral resistance I would have thought.

Unlikely to find out as I rarely have the time to track the M400 nowadays
