I slightly disagree with Gadge. I think you will easy get a 3R for that money. I also belive all 3Rs have TDS and 6 Spd it's very rare to find one without these.
Only thing would be leaking floor and chocolate exhaust bracket.
Try to find one with after market exhaust and pump wiring mod and you'll be sorted.

I think for a 3R private sale you will need more like £28K-£29K realistic sale price. Lower than that, the owner must be 1. Relatively desperate to get rid quickly and/or 2. The car being sold needs an (insert - sliding scale!) of work to get it to tip-top condition. 1. is great for you, 2. means additional finance you will need to spend must be vectored on top of a bargain 'lower' purchase price.
If you want to buy from a dealer, more like £29-£31K+. Some of the dealer cars in the classifieds have been around for 6 months or so; I would assume negotiation will be good if you are in a position to buy.
Only two for private sale at present in PH classifieds, both @ £28.5K, which I think is bang on the money. They look to be very good examples; but due to full service history, quality of advert (I think this really says a lot about how bothered the current owner is about his/her car) and being a very well known 3R and owner on PH, I'd go with AMG Merc's:

I do think the decent 3R's are going to go up slightly in value over the next 1-3 years due to desirability and rarity (a bit like the good TVR T350's are currently appreciating), maybe to around the £30-31K mark for private sales.

You will be able to pick up a 3R in your price bracket but you will then get the bug that most of us have caught and want to do some upgrades, i,e, Intercooler, exhaust etc.
You may be better raising your budget to get one that is already done as that will almost certainly work out cheaper in the long run.

I think there great. My garage is the same as yours and I've got the Noble and an old restored Fiat Pininfarina Spider and keep them both in Carcoon's. I took the Noble out last weekend and the car got soaked

Can you explain how its a complete service history? As it went nearly 2 and a half years between one of the sevices. I share your view on 12 months regardless (as you can see) but not everyone does. From a mileage perspective it has FSH with every stamp and that was good enough for me when I bought it. It's in better condition now than when I bought and it was pretty good then. Please dont start a service trolling thread,

Just saying its probably a good reason why people arnt coming to look. Mine has been serviced every year regardless. It was the reason i discounted yours when i was looking. At least you have put the service list up though.
