I am in the process of having a clearout that i've been promising myself for a while. Apart from the PH classified that i've just placed, would anyone recommend anywhere else to get rid of some wheels, luggage set & other bits? I thought maybe Ebay, what do you reckon, has anyone been successful on that site in the past? Any other idea's would be appreciated, thanks.

I'd not touch ebay with yours - they are a bunch of chissling shysters.

I've bought & sold four sets of wheels and tyres on e-bay. Bit expensive on commission but each sale went for over double what I would have been prepared to flog them for, and the four sets I've bought I just snip.pl'd them and paid well under market price (£260 for £3400 set of X5 wheels and tyres).

I also cleared out my old house's furniture and stuff on ebay and got a result on that as well smile

Nope. BMW main dealer in Hull. As I used snip.pl I was the only bid and got it for the reserve.

smile Snip.pl doesn't stop you over-bidding (as you can still set a mad price), nor can it guarantee you will win, but it does make sure you pay the minimum you need to.
