went to fit my new battery behind my passenger seat today , when i got everything out the box i cannot see how the battery will go in the battery holder once the holder is fixed to the bulkhead !!! now i could be having a Blond moment !!!
here is some pictures :

there are screws to hold the bracket down that you cannot get too with the battery in place but if i fit it all to the bulkhead then i cannot slid in battery ??? what am i missing ?? Tux

Simon,
Think the bracket/ guard secures the battery in-situ, so just stand the battery in place then fit the guard around it with some rubber packer in between to keep it tight. If you ever want to take out the battery then you just remove the guard.
Nice Xmas pressie !

Either leave the bottom screws out, or secure them first, then bend it back to allow to slot battery in from the top, and then use the tension of the bulk head screws to hold it back in place?
Thanks Justin , Yep that's what I was thinking , not a great design though !!!!
Never seen so many tubes of mastic
