Hi Noble people,
Yesterday I traded my much-loved '92 Griff for an '06 GTO-3R, hoping to collect next Saturday.
Anyone know if there are any get-togethers around Wilts/Glos/Oxfordshire area?
Cheers,
Ian

Tell us more about the car - is it the 06 Larch Silver from Kerridges? Yes, it is the one at Kerridges.
If anyone knows any history on it I'd be interested...?
All I noticed "wrong" with the car was that the rear has been re-painted (metallic finish very slightly different)but apart from that it ticked all the right boxes and the Kerridges people seemed very professional. Got a decent PX on the Griff so looking forward to collection!
Thanks for your replies,
Ian

Welcome to the Club Ian.
I am in west London - so oxfordshire is not out of the question for me. I tend to head south mostly but always keen for new roads / meets.
I agreed on buying F1 NBL off a guy through PH (email handshake) but then he turned around on me for a small bit more cash. Pretty poor form and weak moral standards if you ask me, but now thinking about other number plates as a result.
Not many around that are Noble related though. Plenty of options with my initials though a and don't forget you can keep them forever. Noble plates are a bit NICHE and you can't transfer to another car as its meaningless!

I'm about 30 mins from Swindon and an hour from Reading so definitely do-able. Maybe Scooby could join us for a meet up somewhere mid-M4 corridor in the near future? I think they've taken mine off the web now (and I only have a pic showing the number plate) so I'll upload some pics over the weekend.
If I can manage to stop driving it long enough...

BTW,If anyone could tell me the height from floor to the top of the rear spoiler I would appreciate it; some mods to the back of my garage will be requires, methinks.
1143mm Welcome to the Nobility! I'm Wiltshire based, there's a couple of us around these neck of the woods. If you want a drive out at any time, drop me a PM. Also keep a look out on the South West Forum, usually PH meets every month or two with some good driving roads and a great crowd.
All the best with the new purchase!
