Need 40K ideas please.

Ok so my grandfather has just passed away after 91 years and he took out one of those damn equity release scheme years ago. So now the company will get the house, sell it and some developer will flatten the house he built and lived in after he returned from WW2.
I want to buy it but need 40k deposit any ideas? And yes the Noble will be going but the bank owns a large slice of that. I am even giving up smoking to try and do it.
Oh and this is not a begging letter, I just want ideas and no I am not going to hang around in any docks looking for customers!

.... sigh...again.. you will get the same money in both countries, sell it in the UK for 30K GBP, that equates to (36k) Euros, ship it to cyprus (2k), pay import tax and reg (20k) and you need to sell it for 60k euros in Cyprus to break even.

You could ask freinds / relatives / work people if they would mind going 50:50 with you on it? You could always buy them out at a later date....

That is my thought as well. The other option is that I will get a about 40K inheritance from the property but not until it is sold. Would it be possible to borrow against that? Kind of mortgage and deposit in reverse?Chris.

GTO3R, Blue, 45,000 on the clock. Well maintained and tidy car, but I would say that wouldn't I.
28K or there abouts. All the normal improvements done ie tunnel, floor replaced, fuel wiring upgrade etc. There is a picture on my profile.
I would suggest asking around on this forum as a few have seen it at Jetstream and can privately give you there informed opinion.
