Garage width

Would I be able to get the Nob in a garage that's 2.28m wide and be able to get out of the car. Don't mind winding down window.

Only ask as I might be getting a house and want a garage. This house has one but not sure car will fit.

Easy. I can get out of mine in our car life and that's less than that.

Easy. Get a carpet square (ala what they stick in offices) and put it on the wall at door height and you can then just open the door straight onto the carpet and get out very easily without a worry.

Thought so. It only gives 500m Clarence from door mirror but should be able to squeeze out.

Can get squares from work so that's cool.

Martin, I find these type offer better peace of mind over carpet (which works but gets thin at the point the door hits)...

My garage is 3m wide and i struggle even when i pull over to one side to give more space for the drivers door... you probably can get out with 2.28m but it will not be easy.

They look cool, although I never saw any thining on mine over the 7 years I parked the M12 and then M400 in the garage.

I would tend to agree with the above. For reference a standard car parking space is 2.4m wide and thats not got any walls to hit etc..

I'm quite small and agile so should be ok. Ifi get the house I'll just have to try it before committing.

My garage is 2145mm and I can get in and out OK.

I have to wind the window down and contort myself - you know what a skinny boy I am and it is not that easy - but it is dooable.

I too have a lot of carpet on the walls to protect the doors.

I was worried about this as I drove home from buying it (yes, I know it was a bit late....). Anyway, my garage is 2.44m wide and as long as I park within 6" of the wall passenger side I can get in and out. Just. Turning arund and kneeling on the seat facing backwards works best.

I do that on all my cars in the garage (wind the window down that is). I also have a handle (yep, one of those that old folks' have outside their bungalows!) to hold onto when lifting myself out of the car - works great.

Martin, why not ask a friendly Nobleman to visit your abode with said Noblet and insert into the Bondy Garage for size? Could be worth a beer.

my previous garage was narrow, sorry can't remember the size. The door was just wide enough and once the car was in I gain a half foot either side.

Due to shelves on one side, I am left with 2.3m to play with. Winding the window down to get in & out, plus carpet on the wall makes it pretty painless.
