I can't avoid it any longer and cash is low.(I've blown it building a fun motoring app!)
I was toying with refurbing mine at Black Art but there are no guarantees, so what's the next cheapest alternative? I'm looking for road use only, so something similar to the originals I suppose. Your suggestions please chaps / chapesses.

Sounds like you need the Tuxman racing shocks, if it's a refurbishment you would like we can do it with a guarantee.

This sounds interesting. Are these the gold coloured ones Tux put on a post a few days back?

Failing that I've got a set of 3R dampers and springs you could have cheap. Approx 20k miles road use only.

I have a pair of Bilstein dampers(3R) with eibach springs for the front that have only done 2k miles perfect for road use, you can have them cheap, still like new, i also have a pair of the original Bilstein dampers and springs for the rear, 15k miles, perfect working order, i will give you a very good price to stop them from just gathering dust in my garage wink

You don't want his - all that sea air! Besides, my postage will be cheaper.

Thanks for the offer lads, I was very tempted but Dave has other bits to do to the car so I'm gonna stick with him. Cheers.

No Problem m8.....a few people on here jumped in and beat you to them anyway.... i cant fault you.. those shiny gold ones are damned tempting, i'm in the same boat as you with a new set of tuxman racing dampers on the way...smile.. i think i have just stepped over the line where with the money i have spent on this car, if i had saved it i could have bought a 458 instead...and with the time i have spent working on it i have probably lost an additional 100k in earnings...nuts... i feel like one of those nutters that spends 30k modifying a citreon saxo...just a level up... i cant afford a lambo but yet i can afford to spend a fortune modifying and improving a kit car...hmmm..... and in turn thats why i can't afford a lambo.....somthing financially dangerous and addictive about cars with room for improvement......idea....the upgrade business....

Chris, if you saved every one of those pennies for a Lambo you'd of had no ride for a few years because it would be one lump some. Instead you've had a fantastic time and still have a car that handles better!biggrin
