Some reasons please for noble as next car

Owned a whole of stuff over the years: tvr, porsches*many, viper, morgan, merc, ferrari. Currently sorting out a little cooper s into track work; but now need to get my new P&J to drool and drive.

Please give me the version of the 2 minute elevator pitch for the Noble. Contenders for new P&J are 996 GT2, Noble GTO, 997 C2S, Tuscan S

You dont want to know... just know it will cost you about 20k on top of the purchase price of the car to get one of the 600bhp sorted racing spec Nobles. Take the car to Jetstream hand over a wad of cash and the end result will blow your mind.

ok i now get it some more: drive it - be impressed; accept that any problems are going to be worth it for the noble performance. Is there a url for jetstream as not immediately obvious on a search.

Having a wander through the various Nobles for sale and i thought i saw a M400 at Mole Valley Specialist cars but when you go to the site there's nothing mentioned besides a GTO3.

The M400 came up in an "autoweb" reference. I am guessing there are not many M400's floating around.

Correct, not many M400's around, lucky if there is more than one for sale at any one time, non on the classifieds just now!

Woolfie,I've copied and pasted my comments below from another thread regarding ownership costs for a standard power M400,to give you an idea.I haven't tracked mine, and had a 3R previously.....


"As the O.P mentioned a Noble I'll give some real world figures,as I've just added it up.
Noble M400, 2005/05.
Bought in June 2007 at 8000 miles
It now done 32,000 miles.
I have bills totalling approx £7500 for that period, this includes servicing,1 set of tyres that I got a great deal on, some cosmetic upgrades that were unnecessary but nice, and some preventative maintenance that has definately helped.
Depreciation at the moment is no more than 5 grand-ish since 2007.
Insurance with Admiral is £400-ish a year or less. RFL is £215 or close.
So all in, without petrol, it's cost me circa 3 grand a year to own,service,maintain,tax,cover depreciation and insure one of the most rewarding cars out there,whilst actually driving it 5000 miles per year.
Not bad,.......not bad at all."
