The std stub axle bolts are very poor !!!! Jakes upgrade units are soooo much better !!! and you can use the Porsche hub nut !!

Just a quicki when the bolt is tightened does it compress the bearing making it a tight fit as seems to have the play with or without bolt attatched I have been advised to use a Porsche bearing instead of the Ford..want to get the correct bearing with a tight fit before fitting the new bolts.
Thanks Simon

Hi Simon , Porsche nuts will not fit the std bolts , yes they are a pinch bearing , give them a good tweak to see if the play can be taken up . Tux

bearing is the same as some porsche and bmw 3series... it isnt an upgrade as it is litterally the same bearing and they are around 10quid... unless you buy them from porsche or bmw or noble of cause lol

They have to be tightened up using the bolt otherwise they have significant play as the ball races dont seat properly.
