I'm new to the forum. Haven't found a Noble owners sub-forum yet but would be interested. The url link above takes me to the forum we're in (PistonHeads » Gassing Station » Other Marques » Noble). Was guessing it might be like the owners-only forum at NobleRossion and Noble-Speed, but might have misundersood. Does it require special admission? Thanks for your guidance.http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?h=0&a...

That is the correct forum for discussions about Nobles on PH, it's just that Gianluca originally posted his question in General Gassing, which is for non-specific marque chat.
If you want the owners only forum, that is Nobleparts, of which I am the site admin. If you would like access, I'll happily enable your account once you register.

Thank you for confirming that I'm posting/reading in the right place Daisy Duke. Good to know.
Yes NUS0206 is my chassis number. I included it along with the model to improve the chances of getting applicable advice when I request it.
Obviously, mine is a late production M400 (April/May 2007 I believe), one of the last few imported by 1g into the US before 1g changed names and started building the Q1. I've learned slowly over the past couple of years reading NobleForums (actually I'm a slow learner in other venues as well), that Noble continued to make improvements as obvious issues arose, as you would expect. Mine has the improved fuel pump wiring and tell tale fuse holder, the improved alternator wiring (which has been further improved with Ford's recent rewire recommendations to stabilize voltage regulation), and it has an improved baffle in the steel track pan that looks much like the pan that Rossion offers. I had to pull the pan this winter to figure it out, and was pleasantly surprised that not a lot of work was requried. Not sure about other improvements, but I did recently see in one of Hoover's Noble-Speed posts that some of the early M12s have a different mbe ECU (975b instead of 975d).
In a perfect world, it would be great for we Noble owners to have a timeline for Noble's improvements. But that might require a lot of interest and effort on our part. You don't suppose that Noble would share the timeline with us, assuming they kept one. Noble would risk nothing in sharing, now that the warrantee periods are long expired. Just a thought.

Thanks also for the NobleParts hint. Will check into it soon.
