Expect JIC rather than AN? Haven't got one to measure but -03 (3/8 thread) sounds about right.

Soz for hyjacking the topic, Iv noticed that my oil feed hose (Braided/coated) as a lot of hot spots on it, To worry or not?

The front one in my car dripping oil on the hot turbine causing smoke and a not indifferent danger...

(your water pump belt don't use a tensioner?)

Your hose nearest the front turbo shows signs of heat damage near the front turbo. That seems to be typical of Nobles, but can't guess why yours has dark marks to the right of of your water pump. Suggest you also have a close look at the oil hose to your rear turbo too (by removing the IC box). The exterior clear plastic coating of my oil delivery lines were severely decomposing near both turbos (especially the rear) before 2000 miles elapsed on the odometer, including 3 track days. The clear plastic had turned brown and black like your picture, and was very brittle. As I removed Goodridge insulation slieving, the exterior plastic pulled off the rear hose and the SS braiding underneath easily fell apart. The internal Teflon tube was apparently the only thing holding the oil pressure. This is what my rear hose looked like after I removed the insulation slieve.



Others have reported similar observations on the Noble-Rossion forum. My personal conclusion was that the original lines were a fire waiting to happen on my M400.

I converted both of my hoses to AN-04 SS braided Aeroquip during 2010 winter break. Needed to change the two aluminum fittings at the engine block to AN, and I TIG welding stainless steel tubing extensions to connect the new hoses to the turbos, reusing original steel fittings at turbo ends. This is what my replacement rear oil delivery hose setup looks like. The front is similar but easier to get to. Obviously, the goal was to distance Aeroquip hose from hot turbos and headers. No leaks or observed heat damage in 2 years.







In the U.S., Rossion and TurboHoses both sell replacement hoses. I think they may both have metal tubing extensions at the turbo end, along the lines of what I fabricated. Sorry, I don't know who the UK suppliers might be.

While you have your hoses out, check into flow restrictors, if your turbos don't already have them. For what it's worth, my experience with the aluminum flow restrictors that I purchased was not good. They quickly worked loose and leaked at the track. The rear leak was enough to create a minor fire on exhaust tubing insulation below - luckily no damage, just extinguisher powder to clean up. I opted to reuse the original steel fittings after press-fitting ~1/16th inch I.D. SS tubing inserts (slightly flared on the input end) to restrict flow.

Bill - welcome to the forum; great post. The black marks on the hoses are caused by the metal P-clips conducting heat from the engine to the hose.
