First start since Winter break

Starting Noble up this weekend - First time in a while.
Whats the easiest way to stop the fuel pump so I can turn it over to get a little oil pressure and oil to the top of the engine before it fires?
I presume fuse or relay - which relay is the fuel pump?

Its one of the bank of 4 fuses above the ECU. Just pull all 4 out.
If you have the uprated fuel harness then the relay is prob in the N/S pod.

Or pull the plugs connected to the coils so it wont spark and turn it over. That's what I always do anyway.

Stopping the spark won't stop the injectors from firing, so you'll end up with a whole bunch of unburned fuel in the engine. Pulling the fuses from the 4 fuse box in the engine compartment (just be sure to remember which fuse goes where) is a good way to keep the engine from starting, and so is disconnecting the two-wire connector in the engine harness.

Interesting difference of opinion, but i would start it and get it to about 3000 rpm as soon as possible to get the oil pressure up, I believe that starting it gently does more harm than good.

+1 Just start it (and don't rev it) - it's a Ford.

I just started it when back form winter storage : just some black soot on the garage floor but that's only it

+2 I'd just start it and get moving as soon as you can. Get a little load on it by driving off gently rather than letting it sit idling for ages. Revving it is likely to flood it anyway.
