Has the Noble attracted the wrong attention?

Hi Guys meet/spoke to a few of you on here but tend to keep myself to myself but have just need your opinion if I’ve had my first bad incident of Noble ownership.
Chain of events as follows, bear with me long story
Pop out to pick Daughter up 3.15 in the afternoon 20 minute round trip
Open front door coats all over the floor, look left into bedroom (Bungalow) completely turned over, come through house, other bedrooms completely turned over, get to living room patio doors wide open, Dog (8 year old boxer) shaking on his bed which his pissed in fear so they’ve obviously given him a bit of a kicking. Daughter says she’s seen someone jump over back fence, check rest of house , no one there & the kitchen double glazed door window smashed which is where they’ve gained entry. Run down garden look over back fence (backs onto flats) cant see anything so decide to go back through house & go round to entrance to flats.
Daughter is on phone to police whilst I’m running around with the red mist gets to front of property & 2 youths walk round corner & go towards parked Focus , I approach & they look nervous saying what mate I say you’ve been in my Fu**ing house, they split one runs up the road & the other down the road, makes chase on the one running up the road after 100m I realise I’m making no ground, & I’m 50 n fat & he’s 20 so turn round & run back towards house where I see other youth has returned to focus, gets to car he has it started & reversing try to get to handle & miss then run towards front of car, looks him in the whites of the eye's he drops the clutch & runs me over, all in front of my 16 year old daughter.
For some reason don’t feel hurt get up & go back into house to see what they got
Basically PS3, PSP, Game Boy & Games, Jewellery, Cash, perfume, aftershave & you’ve guessed it Noble keys, Missus Saab Convertible keys & all House & Garage Keys
Police turn up, start taking statements asking about car etc about 10 minutes later old lady around 8 doors up walks down road & says are these your keys they were on my path & its got the same badge as your posh car IE the Noble, result got one set of keys back, so he must of offloaded them when I chased him up the road.
As time goes on starting to struggle for breath, copper calls ambulance turns out 5 broken ribs punctured lung & damaged kidney, blood transfusions, tubes out of everywhere the lot total 8 days in hospital, thankfully kidney has sorted itself out, but ribs are a killer.
The police caught them 2 days later doing more burglaries in the same car (stolen) members of our travailing community, they are to charge one with attempted murder
We live in East Barnet, Herts so its hardly the Bronx & the trouble now is my missus thinks they targeted us because the Noble was on the drive saying they must have thought we had plenty of money even though it turns out this week they knocked at the house opposite before it kicked off at ours & asked “Does the Mechanic live here” IE checking if someone’s in. I think their just low life scum who would have broken into anywhere for things easy to move on for cash, what’s your thoughts guys.
Check your household insurance Automotive Keys not covered on the policy, they said claim off your car insurance which I think is a bit of a p*ss take.

wow quite a time you've had..chances are they would have tried to knock over your house anyway.. lucky they didnt get the car if it was sat in the drive and they had got the keys.. if you had been 5 minutes later i think they would have had one a piece.. Focus and a noble...no doubt that was there plan..
Im sorry to read what happened I hope you are ok, It will be interesting to see if they get punished, one warning, I had some keys stolen (my son left a door open) the insurance company said the cars are not insured untill i change all of the locks (3 cars and a motorbike, no house keys, luckely) and no they wouldnt pay out.

The window they broke, underneath is a 4mm plastic sheet with a cat flap in which must be easier to kick in.
Where were they going to get rid of the M400 or the bits it’s a close community unless they were going for an audition for interceptors
They didn’t ditch the Focus even after running someone over in it apparently my blood is still on the bonnet, sad thing is as it sped away I thought that’s the wrong shape for that age of plate (faulse)

Firstly, I wish you a very speedy recovery, you were a very brave man with your actions,and I hope the rest of your family are not too traumatised.I'd suggest the Noble had nothing to do with the burglary,it was purely because they saw an oppurtunity to raid the house and out again whilst it was empty.If it was for teh car, it would have been keys and out again, not going through Ps3's, aftershave or the like.

Sorry to hear your story and hope you make a speedy recovery. In this case I'd agree that the Noble probably wasn't a factor in the robbery. But on a related note, if ever you get tradesmen round for a quote for something on the house/garden - hide your Noble or your estimate will double!

maybe they did break in because they saw the Noble, My father in law was broken into on Mothers day, we think because he has a valuable Merc on the drive. Luckily they did not take the car

I know how you feel, we we're burgled 2 years ago, noble was in garage, other half went out for half an hour, in they went, £15000 worth of gear stolen, police seem to think we were targeted because we had 2 mercs in drive, not the noble, too difficult to move on, insurance company were real pain, took us 8 months and many phone calls to get paid, Had to move house as to traumatic for other half, new house alarm fitted and primed all the time, They are complete scum.
Much easier to steal it than earn it, and less tax to pay. A lot of sense was talked during the riots about removing people from council houses, debarring from benefits etc. Unfortunately that all seems to have been forgotten, and we're back to community orders and mickey mouse fines. Clearly no deterrent effect, just more costs! Glad you're OK, and well done for standing up to them - only sorry you were injured in the process.
Very sorry to hear this story. I think we would all do the same and good for you for having a go. Unfortunately I suspect these lads were underage and so can't be charged as adults. It's a nightmare with travelers, when they come to our trading estate we have to lock and bolt everything, our compound was done three times by the same lot. Police knew the people from the CCTV, including the guy brazen as you like, pushing our large wheelie bin through the estate one Saturday morning, full of my lads tools and copper pipe. No charge made due to "lack of evidence"

Had to chuckle when the police women gave me a caution when I told her if I caught them, I wouldn't be calling them, but my pig farmer mate, would be having some free feed!!!!! Couldn't see the problem myself, she was not amused.
