I'm sure you guys must have upgraded the K and N air filters in the standard airbox, is there an advantage to bigger filters?

I've got the GTO3....any reccommendations ?

Info provide by funkybmx when I looked into it recently,

Standard part ru-1380 is rated to 350bhp so with two that's 700bhp, more than enough flow, yellowshed also agreed it is not necessary to upgrade even on 600+ cars.

The r-1000 filter is the bigger one rated something daft like 600bhp, but it pokes out into the gap in the clam and would get rainwater directly onto it which isn't ideal.
