Shaun

Great video. Looks like you all had a superb trip.
Your car seems so well sorted and also so well driven.

Most on track videos end up looking fairly sedate - not in this though, you really get a sense of the speed you have on track.
Really good to watch it.

Thanks for kind words lads, track was busy with some poor driving by many which hampered us all a little.

Earlier in the morning had a serious duel on my own with a very quick mauve Waffe Turbo but annoyingly had camara on wrong setting n didn't record, both flat out & on the edge for 5 laps, on the PBox 3 of the laps were under 2:50 with one 2:47 n scrapnel on a perfect clear run.

A Han Solo type manouvre on Pit straight got him in the end...........smash

2.47 - that's about as many gears as I had available on the day :-)

Great vid Shaun. Looked like you were going really well. Trofeos were obviously gripping well, but how did they last over the day? I found wear rates on track were a lot higher than the Corsas, but then again, I do need my geo re-doing as it was all on nearside shoulders.

Car feels superb with new wheels which are far better than originals & feel difference, Trofeo's have limpit grip with excellent longivity & come on to temperature quicker than Corsa's. Aero's superb no need for any tweeking at all. Just require discs skimming which were pain. No cars there could match the Nobles all round but not the quality of Waffe that frequent the Goldtrack days with no GT2's sadly in attendance.

At the Ring car felt outstanding the set up is perfect for Waffe walloping....

I thinks it's only a matter of time one of you in the 600+ bhp SR-71's will breach 2:40 at Spa with Mad Max button deployed minimum 3 times to a maximum of 5 during lap with clear track with 180 up Kemmel not out of the question ommitting 'Rouge' of course smile

Thanks Rob,

Yeah, grip is comparable didn't take to limit as apart from 5 laps out of near 60 I had a passenger so not on it fully but was semi assessed & very impressed, throughout the day never once did they deteriorate. They are a progression from Corsa's which I have used since 2003 which is a bonus.

I had car cornerweighted prior to trip, with passenger didn't feel right near unbalanced, without felt like Ben Hur's Chariot!!!

I'm at Silverstone in May I'll give them a full on work out which i'm looking forward to. Not sure on wear rates yet but to be honest not really bothered, cutting down on take away's lately will pay for another set perhaps smile
