Reset the adaptive map
Discussion
I thought i would put this on a separate thread so it will be easier to find on the search.
In case anybody wants to buy the correct cable for the MBE ecu, you can get them from SBD motorsport, the cable costs £32.50 + vat, i assume it will have the correct resistors etc...
They say it will work with a USB/serial adapter to connect to the laptop, but earlier versions of windows seem to have less issues.
My car has not been ticking over properly since i had a faulty lambda sensor so at last i will be able to reset my adaptive map.

lol....i just wasted my money then
...i thought it might have had a little battery on the motherboard or something that so that its memory would not be lost..like on computers.
With people saying about reseting adaptive map...i thought the only way u could do it was to use the software...doh
Anybody want to buy an expensive MBE ecu cable?
