"clonck" sound on steering left, usual suspects?

Since this morning I hear a "clonck" when I steer left.
It started during a small journey, without any warnings and I wasn't pushing the car at all.
The sound seems to originate from the back side of the car, but we couldn't see anything obvious after removing the clam.
Tomorrow the car will go to a local garage, which has no Noble history, but I'm not driving far with this noise.
I guess it could be something like a broken spring or engine mount, but maybe with the Noble there are other well known problems we can check?

It could be a hub nut come loose, or a ball joint or even a ball joint block which has cracked, just check the wheel assemblies.

Ifs it got a open diff then this could be it. Mine did the same. Maybe a worn out cv joint/drive shaft.
My hand brake shoe retaining bolt sheeted off once and made a almighty clonking sound when turning one way.

Fingers crossed it one of the simpler/ cheaper ones. Not the diff

I had a similar thing happen to me. Turned out the the hub nuts had come slightly loose so tightened them back up to the correct torque and I've never heard that clonck sound again.

It appears to somewith with the drive shaft.
Guess I need to check if it will do 400 Miles to Matt & Dave's.
