Has anyone had any dealings with the 'soft' type of luggage that I've seen strapped to various 'travel unfriendly' cars like ours. My M12 is going to Le Mans this year and there are two of us in it. I appreciate I could buy some gear locally after arriving but would like to keep my options open. Any recommendations etc?

I do see your point Rob, it would look terrible without doubt. I might just have to wear the same pants for 5 days etc!

When you say cases of beer - are we talking '6 packs' of dumpies or proper cases??

I think it's illegal for a Noble, somthing to do with towing weight rating on the VIN plates which Nobles don't have

Not as stupid as you might think. I mean, I've seen Motorbikes with trailers, how fantastic is that ? You get all the freedom of a motorbike but then attach a trailer ! Not once have I never thought of going up to someone who thinks that's a good idea and shouting "Just buy a car, you total cretin !!"

Ironically I have been considering the trailor design as soon I will have a spare rear clip... I know there are new laws in europe about trailors but is this confirmed in UK as well... can a noble really not pull a trailor even if its modfied to be able to?

I know of someone who used to tow a Jet-Ski with his Esprit V8. Imagine seeing that tooling down the Motorway !
