Just found this last night; http://www.fastlaneshow.co.uk/index.html

Anyone other Noblers fancy meeting up at this on Sunday? Its a bit of as trek down for me but I've booked in to have my car on show, it would be great to have some company and maybe meet some of you from on here. If you contact the organiser via the website you should be able to get booked in no problem. I'm sure he'd be delighted to have some more Nobles there amongst all the other 'exotica' on show.
See you there.....?

Thanks Graham, Kenny's car (k7lsy) is also out of action but I'm meeting him in Edinburgh and he's going to come down in another car.

I'm most likely in the minority, but I find these "cars shows in a field" incredibly boring. I don't specifically mean this one; I've been to 3 or 4 at various placed and each time I end up coming to the same conclusion.

Most likely I'll get called a miserable old git for saying this !

Sorry, susy Sun,
TOTALY disagree with Snuffy ! [ each to their own ]
When you get everything from a blower Bently, to a mk1 mini to a Fezza 458 all in one field........

So much as I'm 'registered' at this one

Not at all, each to their own. Any excuse to get the car out for me, its good drive down just to get there. I always like seeing other interesting cars and speaking to their owners.

Saw your car this morning along with another yellow Noble, absolutely cracking car you've got there!

Thanks mate. I just happened to turn up at exactly the same time as the other Noble,- thats why we were parked together. I don't know if the owner is on here? Pretty cold miserable day though, I didnt stay till the end. Some seriously nice motors there.

Good catching up today Iain - and the car looking and sounding ace.

I hope your trip up from Edinburgh was uneventful with that horrible rain coming on!!!

I took a few pictures on my phone - see below.

Hope to see you soon,
Cheers
Kenny

Cheers Kenny, thanks to you and your mrs for coming through today to support me. Weather got much worse after I left you, it was pretty unpleasant driving north of Edinburgh, heavy rain lots of standing water on the road but got home with no incidents. Shame no other Nobles from the north east could make it along, it was a 3hr drive for me. Seems every time I take that car out it rains.

That was my Mrs (Shar) in the yellow Noble, she could't belive it when she saw you behind her.
She left before you, the cold weather got the better of her.
Nice to see so many wonderful motors parked up together.

It was really disappointing to see so many folk clearing out early but it was not a pleasant day to be standing about chatting. Loved the Alfa, beautiful car and a stunning colour.

That's one of the reasons I stopped going to shows like this. A couple of times, I've trotted along in mine, you get in for nothing whilst other people have paid their money to see all the cars. So when I got bored and wanted to leave I always felt somewhat guilty and I did not think I was being fair on those that had paid. A lot of people pay, arrive a bit later in the day and half the cars have buggered off home !

Thats exactly how I felt as I skulked out early. If you commit to 'exhibiting' the organisers should stipulate that you are not be allowed to leave till 1600 or thereabouts.
