what to do with 4 original shocks and springs

Got my nice new shinny Protech shocks fitted at the weekend.

What should I do with the 4 original 3R shocks/springs that I have?

They are all in working order, i know that I can get them refurbed but why bother, hmmmm.

Keep them as a spare!
Just a word of caution, careful when adjusting ride height that you dont start turning the cups using the shock itself for leverage - I think thats the gist of what Protech said, Discovered one of mine was leaking and it turns out you can unwind the valve / seal when doing what Ive described. Replacements sent out within a week FOC , hopefully Simon will be along to advise properly !

Funny that same happened to me and Protech said it had never happened before...

Only use I can think for them is for someone to have them refurbished and do a straight swap with theirs, thereby minimising the time spent off the road.

You were the first to have the problem !!!

If you unlock the locking ring on the spring and take the weight of the spring when adjusting you will not have the problem , instructions have been adjusted accordingly .
