Lifting car off ground

What's the best way to get the car off the ground so I can get underneath it, my garage is only for 1 car so not large, trolley jack, axle stands? Or is there a better way? Any trick lifts anybody found? Thanks Duncan

Breeze blocks (obviously you need a trolley jack!)

I useally reverse mine up a couple of bits of 4x2 to get it a couple of inches higher, slide trolley jack in the centre from behind making sure to place jack under chassis where the fibre glass meets the Ali sheet, use a piece of timber on the jack to protect the floor, jack it up slowly and place blocks or timber under the rear wheels as u go...make sure u put something under the front wheels 2 stop it sliding forward.
This should give u enough room 2 slide under as far a the bulk head.
Someone on here did make some ramps, may be I should knock some up and sell them to you guys!!

I see pro alloy do some ramps for low cars, anybody tried them?
I was thinking maybe there was a system like the air jacks on racing cars but in reverse, ie mounted on the floor under the jacking points

If you're willing to pay £80 or however much they were when they can be replaced by a few bits of timber

I find the easiest way is to take the car to Jetstream and ask Dave to do it

couple of bits of timber is the cheapest option.
But also if you have a scisssor jack i used to put this undser the front jacking point, list the car up an inch, then get a normal jack under the rear, you will see a rounded nub located about 1tf infront of the rear wheel, jacking up at this point will lift the entire side of the car...
Then stick a stand under the front and rear wishbones or uprights for safety.
