Couple of odd things is that the Air box in the front is different to my 2.5. It may have the rad upgrade but doesnt have the fan upgrade.

I also note the pipe from the bulkhead turbo to IC is taking a different route and I suppose it doesn't matter but never seen a BOV that side of the IC

That looks like Obes old car, and assuming it is, the description is just a little (well, a lot) wrong.

It's the same noble that was in the classifieds for 17k. Def not obes old car. It is also noble number 2.

Obes car is with Steve and is the most powerful 2.5 at around 450bhp.

Also if that is the same colour as Obes then ive seen three that colour so not unique as the add suggests

Ah, OK. I was looking at the add on my iPhone and now see it's not the same colour so I retract that last mark about the description not being correct.

Ones car is indeed a beast - the acceleration is stupid, and feels far faster than my M400!

Sounds great, it was awesome when Obes threw me around at the SiCL event just after he rebuilt it. If you've taken it past that, bravo!

Yes I remember following the thread and you saying just that. It was odd that he didn't put forged pistons in it but it has now. Its not me, its SteveObes on here.

We were rebuilding ours at the same time so know what he did to it.

I have photos of Obes' motor when it was almost new. I went to see it at a dealer in Herts - it was VERY rare at the time. I ended up ordering a new one - expensive afternoon out smile

Thanks Rob. smile I already had that car in the register but wasn't sure about it's build number - I presume its had a new engine as the numbers don't match?
