Hi Justin, l look forward to somebody trying it & then saying l told you so. An engine constantly going through the revs very quickly & hold peak revs for long periods ontrack is just what a compressor loves ...NOT. As for cutting the compressor off to protect it under boost that's the very time you need the cooling or am l missing something ?"Does this only work for the street? Absolutely not! Totally agree. People have asked questions about prolonged usage of them and NEVER had responces on its ability to hold temps low whilst under contact laod. Might be ok for drag racing (you need a 5min or so cool down between runs) but useless for track work orr spirited road use. Look at the vids on the Tube and see how long it takes to get the temps low.As for the technology has come a long way B*****ks, the type of compressors used have been around for ages & as ever nothings for free - load the compressor then load the engine.
Also dont you need a chargecooler setup to run that?.....

would be neat if we could add one that can be switched between aircon and aircontercooler
so you can have it when you need it
just use a chargecooler water/air heat exchanger after the intercooler
i guess that begs the question why not just fit a normal intercooler and chargecooler as tonyvan has done so

Gadge.i fink we have been here b4.most have dismissed what i have done.thats fine as i wont be copied.my data proves 100% of the use of a charge cooler.woops im plugging it again....... Sorry a charge cooler is crap,it doesnt work,pressure drop is massive.temp drop is neglegable.DO NOT FIT ONE!!!
