does the fuel filler baffle serve any other purpose other than correct nozzle size for petrol, does it help with fuel sloshing about or fuel cut when filling up, thanks, Duncan

I suspect it may help the shut off control of a pump (or at least splash back on overfilling) and to be safe I'm refitting it into a new filler neck I'm fitting.

Maybe Sunoco will be along and can give some expert advice.

Are you refitting a black filler from merlin ?

Easy, .........................car is at Jetstream for service and bits and bobs so it's on their to do list not mine!
