Looking to buy M12 GTO-3
Discussion
Please could you give me an indication as to what a 50 year old (boo) with clean license (at present) in a rural area would pay and who is regarded as the best to insure with?
Should not ask this question, but I will, when driven sensibly (60/70 ish mph) where possible, what mpg on a run would you expect to get?

Claims history. Not many nobles about. So less get crashed so insurers see them as a safer bet than something like a elise which there are thousands off, which in turn means there are more crashes
Can't agree with that at all. My M400 was cheap as chips to insure, my Ultima is literally three times the money.I haven't moved and in fact my license is cleaner now than it was then.
Come to think of it My F430 was in the same ball park as the ultima and it was only a year old at the time so replacement cost would have been £100,000+ in the case of a write off.
Go figure!!

£800 including mods for me with Elephant. I'm 23, 3 points with 2 years NCB. my previous car was a bmw 335i and that was £3800!!!
Are you sure they have insured you for the correct car. A Noble is in a higher group than a 335. I remember I got a Lancer Evo insured when I was 24, they insured me cheaper than anyone else ( nfu) turned out (after killing it three days later) they insured me for a 1.6 standard lancer dispite me giving all the correct details. I was insured as it was their fault. Now 39 and Admiral charge me £460 with Europe breakdown cover. Was Elephant alot cheaper than anyone else????Edited by JBliss on Sunday 15th July 11:03

Elephant and admiral are the same group are they not? Its to do with the amount stolen and the number of claims. On a Noble it must be a couple a year hence cheaper than the BMW which must have 100'sI'm 26 years old and I don't have a Noble at present, but I was looking a year ago and as such, I obtained a few insurance quotes. For me (25 years old, 5 years driving, 5 years NCB, good postcode, no points) a M12 GTO-3 would be £700 fully comp; an absolute bargain! At the time, the renewal quote for my Elise 111S was £1200!
It's due to the fact that there aren't many of them on the roads and therefore not many Nobles are involved in accidents. I imagine there aren't many in the hands of young, inexperienced drivers either!

I ment a Noble is a higher group insurance ie group 20+. Sounds like it's all due to number crashed. Gassing Station | Noble | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff

) and my last car turned into a million pieces, wasn't my fault.....honest
