Sequential Gearbox

TIGERSIX found one (and bought it I might add) for £15k. Not sure if that includes all the sundry items you'd need or just the box but as I said, cost prohibitive!
Also, edited to add top lurking OP!
No he didn't

Five speed is doable, six is too long, Andy might talk to a Motec but an MBE is a non starter
Ah I stand corrected. Apparently SB developments have developed an MBE based ECU which is near enough functionally equivalent to a motec and can read strain, yaw, g, gear and other sensors. I've asked them for the specs but they've yet to provide anything...
Edited to add: that is obviously compatible with the noble

trouble is finding a box that can take more torque than stock has proved fruitless.... the engine is already well beyond what the box can take and we cap torque to save it.... if there was a box for 15k that could take the power and was sequential I would have seriously considered it.

Andy, i know its a little daft but has anyone looks at the Misubishi Evo 5 or 6speed boxes? They take BIG power figures and are obviously 4WD. Now i know the 2.0 (upto 2.6) ltr engiens dont make as much torque but people have put over 700lbsft through varients of the box. Just an idea (if a daft one)
quaife have got a new 7 speed box
however not for a transverse engine

Designed for a front mounted, small capacity, narrow power band engine/car...not sure you could find a box less suitable for a noble.. however not for a transverse engine

Eliseparts.com have developed a transverse sequential for the Elise platform.
it's designed very much for mid-engined layout (as opposed to a FWD setup), thus it's driveline is optimised to keep the engine ahead of the axle line etc. as well as being a 3 bearing design to make it strong enough for mid-engined cars (with huge traction abilities).
it's small enough to fit an Elise, so I can't imagine it could not be fitted to a Noble?
here's a picture of one about to go into an Elise (2ZZ powered) along with pneumatic paddle-shifter.

and one in the back of an Exige (with Honda K20 power):

and a video of one lapping Mount Panorama (Bathurst)
