After nearly a year of planning I finally got the new dash together and the New stereo installed.
I went for one of these new fangled App stereos that doent have a CD player... for a number of reasons, I never use a CD player and only play music from my Ipod/Iphone, I wanted to consolidate my old stereo/parrot and tomtom with a single unit... I also wanted to save weight and the new unit is lighter than the old stereo alone (no CD player).
The new Pioneer unit allows me to charge and use my Iphone and use apps, also I can use some very good navigation Apps including ones that download the maps thus not requiring data roaming switched on in the phone... I can also use the online radio stations so I should even have a decent radio in my car now lol... it also has a built in parrot with external mic.
Oh and I also fitted some carbon to the rear of my car
All in all Im pretty happy
