Italy Help F1 & Modena Factory tours

Right then
I'm off to Milan in a few weeks to do 10 hours of pain and mental abuse in the Agusta's flight simulator.

So as a reward I'm going to take my self along to the Monza GP, so 1st question is; where is the best place to buy a ticket?
(I've not been to a grand prix in years)

I'm thinking of hiring a car and having a little road trip.
Lets be honest anywhere is going to be more scenic and less polluted than where I live.
Q2 has anyone ever been to Mondena?
Can you buy tickets to look round the factory's?
Zonda, Ferrari, Lamborghini.

Zonda - email them, the secretary gave us a tour for <I can't remember how many> euros, which was awesome. I think their new factory might be open now so things may have changed however.

Ferrari - there's a crap museum in Modena, can't recommend it.

Ducati - book a tour when you get there, can't remember the cost - not that much, good factory though.

Lamborghini - We didn't have time for it

perhaps my riding mate will be in soon with his better memory.

Hi Pete, I'm Italian, ex Noble owner and I've been in the same "shaker" where you will be at the Agusta Training Academy. Are you flying the 109 or the 139?

If you want, I can tell you which instructors must to be avoided

About your questions:

For the Italian GP, a good place to buy tickets is http://www.italy-grand-prix.com , I'm not a big fan of F1 and never been to the GP, but this site is well known and reliable.
My personal choice would be the Ascari Grandstand.

For a visit to the Pagani Factory, usually it is possible if organized in a group. Send them an email and ask: [e-mail]

Lamborghini: the museum is fantastic, take a look: http://www.museolamborghini.it

If you rent a car, take a tour in the Dolomiti region, roads and places are beautiful, very different from the caotic cities you are going to visit (Milan, Vergiate, Modena, Bologna) and feel free to meet me to my HEMS Base in Trento Airport.

I'm flying the 139, we take our own instructors to the sim, our chief training captain is the one to avoid, I think it's going to be my toughest checkride so far.

Thanks for the offer I might take you up on that, as I was thinking of doing the Stelvio Pass, just because.
