Broken down at Sainsburys

Got myself a fresh bottle of Eristoff Gold (try it if you haven't!) Came back to the car to find it chug over a couple of times then die.
So waiting for the recovery to give me a jump start.
Now why is it flat. Well my feelings are that its the LED brake light bulbs I fitted last are somehow draining the battery? Opinions?
I fitted them because one bulb had blown 3 times in the last 6 months so checked the voltage 14.4v running then swapped both bulbs for LED ones.
Could those be the culprit and could I stop them from doing it without cutting those bloody panels out again!!!
Cheers

Earliest I could get a new one from any of the motor factors was Monday but found a place called Austin starter motor and alternator center. He looked at it and the brushes have gone in the starter not the solenoid. So he's going to refurb it for £45 and hopefully have it back tomorrow
