exhaust manifolds

On close inspection both of my manifolds are cracked and will need replacing ,i was at jetstream last week and saw the lovely ones they offer unfortunately i dont have £1000, but i do have a tig and pipe bender !!. So has anyone got a pair of old knackered ones i could use to make a jig and then cut up to use the flanges. any help would be really appreciated many thanks your poor nobelist cousin

I've got a pair of old knackered ones you can have. Where abouts are you?Just be careful trying to repair cracked manifolds. Although you can weld the outside / patch up.......it's the inside of the manifold where the crack can just implode and risk goosing your Turbo. Dave at Jetstream showed me an example of a welded manifold that had internally crumbled. Not pretty.

Could I ask that you copy the flanges and get some made up. Then you can make some more for us lot
