At somepoint yesterday whilst giving it beans there was a thud , some vibration and at the next traffic lights, a Merlin engine behind me rather than the usual helicopter thrum.

After letting the exhaust cool down, there is a load of play in the system, I've got a photo below , excuse the paintshop annotation, can you tell me If and where the exhaust is mounted from , excluding the x2 brackets that are visible on the rear clip, does the takeoff from the rear turbo support any load ? It feels like this is where something has gone wrong - cant see for all the heat wrap. If I rev it at idle it shakes and clatters against the rear ali, heatshield.

Photo from passenger side

Photo from driver side, bracket intact

So where do the rear exhaust sections usually bolt up to?
Cheers

Urban Racing, off with the heatwrap then....
Is it really likely to have come a cropper right at the turbo though?

Have the turbo bolts simply come undone?

Are you sure the manifold hasn't snapped in two?
