The Quest for more grip .
Discussion
In the quest for more grip i,ve just fitted these "S" Ducts to the front and rear arches , they are supposed to give more downforce without creating the drag of something like cannards , ive also gone this route because i do not want the fitting of cannards to effect the airflow over the rear wing .
Not sure how they work but it will be fun testing over the next few weeks .

Let's not get started on the Tux V anybody debate , I make things for my own car and have no interest in what anyone else produces and go out of my way to make sure my products ss different in design as possible .
I had help from a Mr Jeff Braun when it came to designing these along with data available on the Internet , Jeff is a ALMS engineer and he gave me the idea after I asked him how to improve front end stability without effecting the rear wing .
I have no plans to make any more as I'm not sure if they work but if anyone is interested in testing a set at Rockingham I will make some spares to bring with me .

I'm more interested in the drip tray, from an aero and down force (less lift) point of view, if this can seal the bottom of the windsceen there are massive gains to be had.
That's exactly why l fitted my plastic one.Adrian W said:
Ive never been overley happy with the flimsy plastic one and bits of rubber, if Simons one seals the gap, or with a little tweak did it would be a very good aero upgrade.
Agree about the plastic one but until Simon took up the challenge it was the best we had, having said that l did get mine to fit well & seal against the baffle plate & windscreen so other than look better don't think it will improve my aero in that area.

When we used the smoke it was amazing how leaky it was with the tray in , the aero bloke, sealed the clam to the screen with duct tape, the drop in lift was huge, i think it's in one of the tables.
Adrian, I read that artical which is why l fitted mine, a lot of good work was done thanks to you & Phil etc. Gassing Station | Noble | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff

So whether they work or not is immaterial?
