I am wanting to fit the 3r lights has anyone cut out and fitted any?
Is it possible to cut the clam,round the edges and just blow in without a complete re spray?

doing the same... there is another thread going with it been done.

Might be worth not hijaking the other thread and putting it all here.... I will be cutting the holes out and doing the conversion over the next month when i'm back in UK.

Andy, Any idea of costs? I will need to get hold of the lights etc...do you think its possible without a complete re spray?

im re-sraying my entire car anyhow... in fact i need to do the lights so i can get the respray done.

not so sure you could do it without spraying... no doubt you could cut it very carefully then extend the silicon to a few mm over the cut line to hide it... but how good a job you could do would be arguable.

you know that the light pods are a lot of money in parts to do... including paint i recon 1.5k min unless you can find some 2nd hand items.... I will be selling mine, but not until i have made my new design which will be next year for certain.

If I'm going to do it it will be at the end of the year when the weathers not up to much so will be on the look out for some lights.
