Hi to all Noble owners.
Can anyone help me out? my noble m12 gto is blowing white smoke when cold but clears up when hot.

The most likely thing is condensation in the exhaust. Check your water tank/bottle level to make sure that's fine Though.

Get a bit of paper, hold it up to the exhaust and see if it's water vapour or oil. Water vapour can be condensation, if it's the latter then one of your turbo seals is probably on the way out. Very common on the front turbo, and easy enough fix (or just ignore it until your next service if it's not that bad).

depending on the exhaust, some cars will do this (i'm not talking specifically about Nobles).

as mentioned above, condensation builds up in the exhaust system and when you start from cold it steadily steams off/blows out.

even if its oil then nothing to worry about due to the fact it clears up when hot, its the oil restrictors which is a design fault, you can get it fixed though, contact universal turbos, if it was oil seal i think it would be smoking all the time.

As above, could well be turbo seal. I had blue-ish oily smoke while idling from cold. Disappeared once on the move as the oil residue from the worn turbo seal burned off. If you've got the standard exhaust you won't be able tell which turbo it is until they're removed.

Once the turbo warms it it seems to seal better generally, hence often you only get smoke from cold. Another way to tell which I've always used is when warm leave it idling, turn it off, wait about a minute and then start again. If you get blue smoke then it's the turbo (well, has been on the Noble and Quattro every time).
