Rockingham 2012 , sweaty Palm's and hot brakes !!

Well what a day , Rockingham looked awsome bathed in glorious sunshine and a pitlane full of Nobles 
firstly a big thanks to Jonny and the Bookatrac crew , the day was run well with no issues .
secondly well done to everyone that turned up in a Noble !! 28 in total and only one breakdown which has to be a record
A special thanks to my Norfolk mate Matt who managed to shut his CSL keys in the boot and give me the chance to take the piss all morning .... luv ya bud
Congrats to those track day Virgins that finaly popped there cherries and also well done to Jamescmr2 who after 2.5 years finaly managed to complete a track day in his Noble !! and also to Lucozade who finaly managed also to complete a track day !!!
Also thanks to Mr Yellowshed who managed to make me laugh all the way round the lap in his awsome fiesta
Good to have the Jetstream crew there is case there was any issues although there was none and a special thanks to my Lovely Lady Dawn for wearing her Green high heels all morning to finaly put to bed the myth that they a mine
I hope i had time to talk to everyone , plans are already being set in motion for a Noble only day next year

On the subject of heels, just exactly how many outfit changes did your misses have on the day!!
It was good to return to Rockingham and last the whole day without problem. Car definately feels better with that extra bit of power and torque. We even managed to get back to the North West in less than 3 hours so will be up for another visit soon enough.

Ye me too, I like the way the rear quarters are black and following the roof to the windows, also the black sill following around the front, but at the front I would only do the bottom lip and follow it round, but I will be copying this very soon me thinks.On the subject of heels, just exactly how many outfit changes did your misses have on the day!!

It's a 220bhp NA Duratec, single throttle, OE ECU - slight up-spec on the Mountune MR200 kit with all the bits. I also have the KW suspension kit and the OZ alloys shod with AD08 tyres. Still on std discs but braided lines and DS2500 pads.
I love it and it's a lot of fun to throw around. Quite kind on most things too... though I am probably going to look at brake cooling to stop the front discs warping too easily!! Still a little nervous that the standard 'box's cooling isn't up to the revs I'm pulling, so I keep the time on the track down to shortish sessions.
Had a go at the How Fast Bedford thing and am the fastest Fiesta ST recorded there and on the first page of the leaderboard for Hot Hatches at no 20 - at least for now...

Yay, Fantastic to see all the guys even though most were taking the p*ss rightfully so after I locked my keys in the boot.......
Turned out to be a good thing in the end though as when I put the car in the garage at home I realised the threads were showing through on the drivers side tyre so if I had got on track in the morning it would of deffo been an early shower.
Did enjoy a bit of sideways action on the Hairpin James as did you...... Got braver and braver until I had a right o tank slapper at one stage.
Great also to see Missus Tux looking hot in the green tuxman racing livery and hot pants..... Go girl.

Looks like you had a great day, gutted I wasn't r ready, and couldnt meet up with everybody again, maybe the next one.cSome good pics of loads of shiny Nobs, some vid would be good.
Agree the yellow and black looks good on someone else's , but not sure about mine.

i think you got your tank slapper on when following me (or one of many) as i remember my mate Roly shouting "wow, Matt nearly lost that one" as i was going towards the chicane haha. good man.
i wasn't planning on being that silly in the car but it just eggs you on. especially when not on sticky trackday tyres. I was amazed at the difference in grip between the goodyear eagle F1s and the Trofeo Rs, staggering

For now....but it's in good hands. Cool photo Matt sent me of it in their truck with the Clio!Water pipes and some other bits need to be done whilst they have it and I'm not around for a little while so should be fine soon.
Although the clutch issue has not gone away, albeit a small leak.....will delay mending until winter I feel!

its a mk3 fiesta rs turbo fitted with a 2.1 zetec turbo on 2 bar boost it made over 400 hp and is undrivable, the torque steer is so bad it pulls in the oncoming traffic ! on 1.3 bar its easier to drive and has enough power to embarrass almost anything
it is fitted with uprated cosworth brakes, roll cage, koni coilover suspension, twin fuel pumps, custom cylinder head porting and intake manifold, autronic ecu, 800 cc injectors, compomotive rims and yokohama rubber etc etc
it really needs a bigger rad to stop it getting so hot, but there is not much room at the front of a fiesta !
the lower wishbones are modified with special bushes but i really need to put some braces in there and camber adjustable top mounts to sort the torque steer out
I didn't think the torque steer was that bad till i got the noble !
