Help - polycarbonate moulder?

Dear All,
As some will know i developed a set of polycarbonate lens covers for the olders style M12 front clam, to create an E-type or 3R like appearance.

unfortunately the chap who used to do my moulding has retired and the new owner does not want to do low volume one offs.

So does anyone know of anyone who would be able to make these lenses for me. They are currently vacuum mulded in 1.6(?)mm polycarbonate.

Any help in finding someone else to do it would be greatly appreciated. I have a guy who needs a set for his wedding.

I am wondering if any of you clam re-designers might know someone.

Hi Paul,

There used to be a guy on one of the Porsche forums who started doing this to make clear lenses and I had a set off him a couple of years ago.

I'll dig out his details when I get home.

I used this company in the 80's for a set of headlight covers on my XR2, they're still going, might be able to help....

Jesus, just realised I've admitted to owning an XR2 and a bloody Rover 75 on this forum now.....

The guy making the Porsche bits was Richard Marsden and I think he set up a little business called Protocast..

Looks like he does other bits now as well, but not sure if they are polycarbonate or not.
