Savage switches
Discussion
I have just managed to blow the ignition 40a maxi fuse trying to wire up my new savage fog light switch so obviously can't be trusted with electrics!
Any advice as to which wire goes where would be very gratefully accepted.
I have also purchased a blank switch to replace the switch that does nothing. Any advice on how to wire this up would be great or shall I just leave it disconnected and tape up the connectors for it and tuck them away?
Many thanks
Mark

Not being funny but plastic cars burn very easily, if you don't know how to check the wiring, get someone else to do it or read some books. Any advice as to which wire goes where would be very gratefully accepted.

Replaced main fuse and all seems well, I have three wires from old switch and seem to need 4 maybe 5 for new one, 1 live and 1 earth for the led light then an earth and source wire for the new switch( new switch also has post for a switch which will be normally closed, I believe the fog will be normally open and closed when switch is pressed may be wrong though)
I can piggyback the earth from switch to led but don't know which wire is which, one seems to be live when lights are on the other two are not.
To let you know what I did I connected the 1and 2 wires from the old switch to the 1 and 2 on new switch the third post on old switch is marked up 1/3 so connected third wire to 3 post on new switch pressed it and fuse blew.
I fitted about six of these into my Westfield with no bother, but I had a decent wiring diagram with the wire colours on it, the one in noble manual seems quite vague.
Again any advice given or offered appreciated
