Ring Touristdays Noble Aero

Worth remembering any Nobles with Carbon Aero bits such as wing ends, cannards & radiator gurney etc won't be allowed on touristdays. Be prepared to remove & take standard wing ends with you.

I was pulled going through ticket machine by the Ring Gestapo stating " The aero on this car is dangerous, the cannards & wing ends especially" I tried blagging them that it is optional standard fit from the factory which didn't work as they went into the office & printed off a photo of a standard Noble without aero mods. I still maintained that many Noble cars have the optional aero kit & frequent the Ring all the time on touristdays.

I then stated the GT3RS4.0 has front cannards plus new Mercedes Black yet you have just let both through plus the two KTM Crossbow's are made out of them yet no probs with letting them on & assume they are all banned now aswell. In the end he let me on again as I wouldn't back down due to other machinery with near similar aero.

I think it must down to the Waffe complaining being continously being culled by us lot...

It is mate, had reprieve for that day only. Next time I'll take standard wing ends in the car just in case Gestapo or snipers are awaitng our return.

why are aero mods not allowed ?

is it dangerous or do you end up too fast for a tourist day ?

They reckon due to the sharpness of the edge of the carbon especially the wing ends. Gestapo reckon it would take off a motorcyclists arm, leg or head off if he or her hit the car.

I still think the Waffe are behind it as this years culling has took its toll

you are supposed to have 2mm radius ends to all external parts.... our stock rear wing is actually illegal and they would have fitted ruber strips to it (or removed it) to get SVA approval for each car lol

the answer is to put rubber on them

Half of my front splitter snapped going down Dottinger Hohe at 170+ last monday That was the boomerang style, needless to say I removed the other straight after that!
