As I would be,(mine is only three). You only have to watch YouTube videos of unfortunate drivers and passersby to see how many will happly pass a bad crash without stopping. Not me, last bad accident I saw happen infront of me involved a car roll over and the elderly lady passenger was left upside down with her arm trapped between the roof and road. Very brave old dear, and she had me pushing her up to try to take the weight off her badly damaged arm to help her pain until the services turned up. Both made a full recovery
I hope your daughter is ok, but when things like this can happen, it's very sad:

For dome people it all seems more trouble than what it's worth, maybe due to the blame-claim culture?? Obviously just stopping safely to check someone is ok would seem obvious.

Not sure the emergency services would advocate stopping on the motorway to assist. Clearly if there are casualties etc, but if the car was clear of traffic I expect they'd prefer you kept moving and stayed out of the way?
i see your point but dont agree. If there are others stopping clearly you should keep out of the way, but if noone is helping, how can you just drive past ????Boxing day 2 years ago i was on my way to the in-laws, trundling along the A12 had a car swerve in front of me, almost take others out and then continue swerving all over the place. i assumed he was drunk. My wife Phoned the emergency services whilst we waited to see what happened. With the road clear in front of him and behind, the car drove straight into the trees by the side of the road at about 80mph. Myself and 2 others pulled over immediately, one armed with fire extinguisher, ensured there was no smoke etc and kept the guy alert, safe and calm until the emergency guys turned up 5 mins later. It transpired the guy was diabetic and had a fit of some sort. The emergency services said keeping him calm and awake and ensuring he wasnt in danger was the best thing to have done.
There is an argument to say the car could have caught fire etc, but anyone who stands by and watches that happening and not trying to help ought to ask themselves what would they think if their loved ones were in the car. As for filming such events, well, they are scumbags.
i hope your daughter is ok.
Thankyou
She was shaken up and has some knocks and bruises but was stuffed into the central reservation with cars hurling by.
Cars a mess but by the grace of someone she will be fine
Aquaplaned when she came up behind a car with no lights on going rather too slowly on the A1m
I know how bad aquaplaning is, I'm a Noble owner don"t forget!!!!
