So, the time has come after all the hard work this spring - unfortunately due to some seriously unforeseen circumstances the Nob has to go so was seeking a valuation
GTO3 with approx 48k on the clock.
Track sump
New 5-speed gearboxman box, shot peened, fully strengthened with the cooling unions (but no cooler fitted)
New LSD
New speedline wheels
As new Vred tyres
New full BCS exhaust all heatwrapped etc
New Pro Alloy intercooler
New Pro Alloy oil breather
Bosch 044 Pump
New fuel lines
Newly refurbished ECU
Newly refurbished dampers
All hoses replaced
Tuxman wing ends
Yellowshed mapped to 370bhp and 385lb.
Piles of receipts and all the service history, last one being at Jetstream.
The car isn't perfect cosmetically and could definitely do with a new floor, but mechanically it is completely 100% sound.
It needs to go quickly so accepting that the offers might not be great this time of the year also :'(
I will definitely be back that's for sure.

Well strangely this morning I just got a call from the BM dealer saying "bring your Noble over to let us see it. I'm sure we can come to some arrangement on price".
Hmmmm.....I might just go along with the plan to see what's on offer. But what if he gives me an offer I cannot refuse!
I told him I'd remain stubborn on wanting way higher than standard prices due to the amount I've spent on it. Let's see what happens.

He may well have a buyer in mind - hence the interest Hmmmm.....I might just go along with the plan to see what's on offer. But what if he gives me an offer I cannot refuse!

might be worth putting it back to stock and selling the partsHmmmm.....I might just go along with the plan to see what's on offer. But what if he gives me an offer I cannot refuse!

So putting it back to stock and selling the tasty bits off helps sell the car and almost always gets more money.

Id agree... my experience of modified cars is that the mods add no value, it can even put some buyers off so can actually narrow your market.

Yes I'm sure I can take some things off but most of it is hardwired like all the pro-alloy bits. So putting it back to stock and selling the tasty bits off helps sell the car and almost always gets more money.

If I took my bits off there'd only be half a car left over
Someone would virtually give you an oil breather, intercooler and set of wheels so there's another grand's worth of parts you can sell without affecting the car's value. I'm sure you could find a standard exhaust in average condition for less than £200 inc cats if you look hard enough.

Trimman Martin had some parts of an original exhaust last time I saw him , not sure if 2.5 or 3.0.Gassing Station | Noble | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
