Quick question lads, on my recent viewings of M12's I have noticed some have a bare carbon rear wing and others are painted? Could you select either of these from factory? Just wondering as Im another one of those carbon fetish guys lol

Early ones had exposed carbon, later ones had painted due to the lacquer going cloudy

All are glass fibre, early cars had carbon veneer but lacquer goes cloudy so don't look good after a few years in sun lol

SOME painted spoilers have the carbon veneer, but my understanding is its very few.

My car has an original, it is now showing some small signs of the cloudiness, still think it looks better than painted though...

Mine has no laquer on it at all for the last 7yrs I've had it. I just 3in1 oil it to make it shine.

That soon stops people resting on it. lol

I must admit I would prefer mine colour coded as the uprights and end plates are black so I think having the wing titanium like the car would give a better look for the black/Titanium look I'm going for.

Got mine rubbed down and took all old lacquer off but only adding 1 new coat so too keep nice deep black colour, well worth the money.
